Here it is, folks! This is a complete copy of the Arrested Development, Season 1 DVDs, including all extras and bonus materials.
Arrested Development was an American comedy that completely rewrote the rules for quality in television, won a ton of awards and loads of critical recognition, and was cancelled due to poor viewership. It's an amazing show, full of every kind of humor imaginable from dry, caustic wit to completely outlandish buffoonery. It also represents a step forward in the way media is created: it was designed, from the beginning, to reward repeated viewings. There are more background gags and non-sequitors in this show than in any other, and the second time you watch any given episode you'll REALLY come to appreciate the brilliance of the show because you'll realize it all fits. It's simply great stuff. If you enjoy comedy programs but haven't tried this one yet, give it a shot. It's simply one of the best and most rewarding programs that's ever been on television.
The files were made from the official DVDs using DVD Decrypter and AutoGK, and are each about 350mb. They are very high quality, each at 720x416 (except for episodes 6 and 15, which are slightly smaller). This is about as good as it gets, folks. I really hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
"Extended Pilot", "Beef Consomme", and "Let Them Eat Cake" have commentaries, and to play a commentary track in Media Player Classic (my media player of choice, and totally free), just right click on the video pane and select "Audio" from the menu, then select the audio stream you want.
