  TRAMA:
  
  È un docufilm fuori dal comune, divertente ed educativo. In
seguito ad un incidente aereo, Saï, una scimmia cappuccina nata e cresciuta in cattività, si ritrova sola e
smarrita nella giungla amazzonica. Impreparata, la scimmietta non sa che farsene dell'improvvisa libertà e,
nell'affrontare un nuovo mondo in cui tutto è ricoperto da una vegetazione fitta e lussureggiante, Saï deve
trovare la strada e proteggersi dalle trappole che la Natura le riserva. La Foresta Amazzonica a prima vista ci sembra
un paradiso, ma bisogna stare molto attenti. Si trova così faccia a faccia con gli animali più strani del mondo ma
anche i più temibili: giaguari, coccodrilli, boa, tapiri, lontre giganti che, insieme ai temporali, la flora e la
fauna sono tutti veri. Saï impara così a vivere trovando un gruppo di scimmie al quale si aggiunge. Prima di
arrivare però ad incrociare alcuni suoi simili, la scimmietta deve imparare a sopravvivere in un universo naturale ed
ostile in cui piove spesso in modo torrenziale e ogni cosa che si muove potrebbe essere una minaccia e dove neanche
l'amore è semplice: infatti Saï si invaghisce della scimmietta che piace al capobranco! Ricco di momenti tutti da
ridere, così come di scene di tensione con predatori affamati, Amazzonia, con la scimmietta Saï, è un film
imperdibile.
