Description

Andromeda è una serie televisiva fantascientifica creata da Gene Roddenberry, già ideatore della serie di Star
Trek e prodotta da Majel Barrett, la vedova di Roddenberry. Sviluppata da Robert Hewitt Wolfe e Robert Engels, questa
serie narra delle avventure del capitano Dylan Hunt e della sua astronave, la Andromeda Ascendant.
Ogni episodio
è preceduto da una citazione (in genere di testi immaginari del futuro, ma in qualche caso tratti da reali classici
della letteratura).


Il capitano Dylan Hunt, della Confederazione dei Sistemi, assieme alla sua
astronave Andromeda Ascendant, rimane intrappolato nell'orizzonte degli eventi di un buco nero per 300 anni. Al suo
risveglio la Confederazione si è disgregata e le civiltà vivono nel caos. L'Andromeda Ascendant viene recuperata
da una gruppo di mercenari capitanati da Beka Valentine e agli ordini di Gerentex, uno spietato Nightsider. Così,
Dylan, Beka, Trance, Harper, Tyr e Rev Bem stringono un accordo e intraprendono un viaggio per far far rinascere la
Confederazione. Tutto l'equipaggio viene trasferito sulla Andromeda Ascendant ed inizia una nuova missione: combattere i
nemici comuni per restaurare la Confederazione dei Sistemi e riportare la pace perduta.
