Aquadelic GT è essenzialmente un gioco misto di guida e azione in cui è necessario affrontare una serie di missioni che, oltre a portare nelle tasche del giocatore un consistente gruzzolo di denaro, avranno l’effetto di aumentare esponenzialmente la nostra fama attirando l’attenzione di sponsor sempre più ricchi e generosi. Naturalmente ci saranno parecchi avversarii da battere e per questo motivo, oltre a cercar di mettere più distanza possibile tra il nostro ed il loro motoscafo, potremmo ricorrere a delle speciali armi quali torpedini, bombe, rane esplosive, reti per cercare di frenare la loro avanzata. La nostra avventura, almeno nelle fasi iniziali, sarà un po’ smorzata dalla necessità di guadagnare denaro e fama per destare l’attenzione di sponsor più importanti e ottenere così il denaro necessario per acquistare dei mezzi adatti per affrontare al meglio le sfide più dure.
Cominceremo infatti utilizzando delle vecchie imbarcazioni dall'aspetto non proprio rassicurante ma, ben presto, grazie alle varie sottomissioni previste, come fare il tassista o aiutare gente bisognosa, saremo in grado di acquistare imbarcazioni più belle e performanti. Con i proventi derivanti da corse e sponsor potremo inoltre comprare anche delle abitazioni, collocate nelle ambientazioni principali in cui si svolgono le gare. Con tali attività supplementari, oltre che guadagnare profumatamente riusciremo a migliorare, e non poco. il nostro livello di popolarità , fatto questo che ci porterà a risolvere tutti i problemi di "cash" per affrontare al meglio il titolo.
Description:
Power Boat GT is an action oriented racing game with motorboats. The main motivation is simple: the player competes against AI athletes and receives price money if he wins. This money is reinvested in better and better boats and gear until all races are won. You can also buy houses in different locations to make your prestige higher. Your prestige helps you to obtain sponsorship - the better the sponsor is, the higher is the amount of money you get by winning. The races are set in three freely navigable locations: Russia, Greece and Caribbean. There the player can find races, sponsors, boat sellers and mini games (taxi driving, saving shipwrecked people or drop care packets with a plane).
The races itself are classical checkpoint races - of course with the typical limitation that boats have no brakes. During the race the players can pick up crates with random power ups, e.g. power boosts. weapons or a tool which cripples the controls of all boats.!! !!
