"This free version of PowerDesk is provided without Technical support. If you would
like to get Technical support, advance file viewing, integrated FTP and more..."
- So, you cannot: Sync Folders, FTP, Size Manager, File Viewers or apply custom Skins.
- Retains basic Zip/Unzip, all other file actions and customizing of Toolbars/Launchbars
of the Pro Edition.
- Thumbnails, Favorites, and File Finder are still at hand.
Ran it - slow to open, but once loaded, the bitch is fast. Faster than PowerDesk Pro v9.
Reminds me of PowerDesk 5 speedwise. and "looks like" the old Novatix ExplorerPlus,
with the curved horizontal bar elements and Office 2003 Blue color.
- And, no nags, licensing issues, etc.
- Plus, you can install it on as many machines as you wish. Good for making a portable
version, or using on a Bootable ISO/Thumb Drive.
Just for shits & grins, extracted PDExploNXP.exe from the .MSI, renamed it slightly and
copied it into my PowerDesk Pro v9.0.1.10 installation, and it runs just dandy.
Oh, and I'm able to use a couple of the Pro apps like Sync!
