Some revised notes for this revision:
In addition to having the brighter sound of a new stylus throughout these selections, the annoying serial recording defect in the "School for Scandal" Overture has once again been corrected (it's still a tricky and difficult repair) - the same defect existing on a library copy of this LP which I taped during the 1970's - and the beauty of the performance still seemed to warrant it.
Also: the large "M" in the middle of the attractive cover of the Hendl LP has been removed from the scan (this had been executed by a previous owner with a permanent black marker ... why people do things like this is something I'll never understand).
Morton Feldman's "Conversation Without Cage" is still included, but this time along with some short anecdotes and a photo from Feldman concerning Copland. Koussevitsky's 1938 recording of Copland's El Sal�n M�xico is a new transfer made as a test - but I could think of no reason not to include it as well.
