The premise is simple: bring together some of the nation's most obsessive Britney Spears fans with the intention of breaking the world record for the greatest number of people performing the routine to 'Hit Me One More Time' film it and see what happens.
What happens is that we follow the story of some of these fans as they try to answer the seemingly unanswerable question, "Why do you love [insert name of Pop Star here] so much?" Some of the stories are endearing, some uplifting, some are downright freaky. And at the end of it we do get a sense of what it means to be a superfan. The fact that the object of interest is Miss Spears is more or less irrelevant. It could be any popstar or celebrity that we#re talking about, only maybe Britney fans are sweeter by nature than say, Megadeath fans.
