Voor de negende keer achter elkaar spijbelt Ferris Bueller van school. Dit keer moet hij een
zeer slim excuus bedenken terwijl zijn zus er alles aan doet om hem door de mand te laten
vallen. Ook de rector is zijn spijbelen spuugzat en wil er persoonlijk een einde aan maken.
Samen met een zieke vriend, diens vaders sportwagen en zijn vriendin (die hij ook met een
smoesje van school haalt) maken ze er een dag van om nooit meer te vergeten.
