  Emperor Wang (the Perverted) is leader of the planet Porno and sends his mighty "Sex Ray" towards Earth, turning

Dale Ardent and Professor Flexi-Jerkoff, they set off towards the source of the Sex Ray, unaware of the perils that face

  A parody of the serial _Flash Gordon (1936/I)_ with a strong sexual campy flavor. Not only
is there nudity any time there is any excuse for it, but many of the scenes are staged as closely as possible to the old
serial shots. Many of the scenes are only funny if you've seen the original. Quite outrageous.

  This movie came out in 1974 when the Golden Age of Porn was well underway. By this time
hardcore movie makers began adopting the story lines of a number of popular film forms: horror (Sexorcist Devil), teen
(Beach Blanket Bango), sci-fi (Flesh Gordon), and high concept (Urban Cowgirls). The producers used the storylines of
mainstream genres as a vehicle to fill in between the hard core sex scenes, which was the real attraction for the
audiences. Like the films produced in the sexploitation era, these films parodied the movies whose storylines they
adopted. Audiences, of course, went to see the sex, but in the process they got something more: a satire of the
traditional Hollywood films that made fun of the devises used by the more traditional films to string their story
together.
  
  In Flesh Gordon, there was an interesting turn of events regarding the sex scenes. Originally
produced with hardcore sex, the Los Angeles police intervened and seized the first version, because it was produced in
Los Angeles, which was not tolerant of explicit sex, like some other locations (such as San Francisco). A softcore
version was then produced, but was not released in many venues because the producer decided to go for an R rating, by
cutting more scenes. These additional cuts allowed him to attract larger main stream audiences. This is the softcore
version.
  
  In it, you will see a large number of nude scenes, with at least 3 scenes showing simulated sex.
In the orgy scene, there is a lot of sex going on, mostly missionary and oral. There is another scene showing a cowgirl
position and another showing a lesbian scene.
  
  According to most sources, the only hardcore versions were
seized by the Los Angeles police and therefore not available. However, if someone can locate a genuine copy of that
version (maybe a friendly L.A. cop? :laugh: ) please let me know and I will immediately post a two terabyte bounty.
