           This is a reworking of Lana Del Rey's 2015 album Honeymoon. Considering the tone and subject
matter of most of the songs, an "opposite" title seemed more appropriate. As is apparently now typical for her
output, the original album is a bit bloated, running over an hour and ending with yet another unnecessary cover of
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood. The songs don't appear arranged in any meaningful order either, nor are they of
consistent quality (certainly almost none of them approach her previous work Ultraviolence).

Like A
Bit Of The Old..., Divorce rearranges them into a more cohesive and LP-length album. By coincidence, both
lead off with a bonus track only found on the deluxe edition. Since there is no 24 bit or vinyl version of this song
(Wait For Life), only a CD version can be produced. While probably convoluted, the story describes someone who gleefully
abandons her marriage before missing that person and trying to reconcile one last time. Even if it’s not as
strong or emotional as Ultraviolence/A Bit Of The Old..., Divorce makes for a more palatable and
coherent release which makes better use of its source material.
