Plot:
Father Arturo (Renato Pozzetto) is a small parish church on the outskirts of Milan almost always deserted on which
rests the will of the Bishop (Happy Andreas) to transfer it to the mountain. One evening in the church arrive Francis
(James cockpit), the secret son of Arthur and Don's girlfriend Matilda (Martha Forghieri) to request accommodations for
the night the morning after Francis disappears into thin air leaving Matilda, who among other things, is pregnant,
church alone, Don Arturo decides not to abandon the girl and the two are put in search of the boy helped by Zobeidè
(Teocoli Teo), a transvestite friend of Matilda has a relationship with a chief superintendent of police, the three
discover that Francis was embroiled in an ugly round of mob led by her stepfather, but to surprise the boy is not only
escaped from her stepfather, but entered the seminary to follow in the footsteps of his father and is about to take
vows, Don Francis Arthur manages to avoid being killed by her stepfather who was arrested in the meantime Matilda gave
birth to a baby girl and shortly after, the pastor assisted by his son christened granddaughter, Francis then realizes
that her place is with Matilda and the baby and leaves the workshop.

The film is also Teo Teocoli in the
guise of Zobeidè transvestite with a heart of gold. Well James is the real son of Renato Pozzetto.

Trama:
Padre Arturo (Renato Pozzetto) è parroco in una piccola chiesa alla
periferia di Milano quasi sempre semideserta su cui grava la volontà del Vescovo (Felice Andreasi) di trasferirlo in
montagna. Una sera in chiesa arrivano Francesco (Giacomo Pozzetto), figlio segreto di Don Arturo e la fidanzata Matilda
(Marta Forghieri) a chiedere ospitalità per la notte; la mattina dopo Francesco sparisce nel nulla lasciando Matilda,
che tra l'altro è incinta, in chiesa da sola; Don Arturo decide di non abbandonare la ragazza e i due si mettono alla
ricerca del ragazzo aiutati da Zobeide (Teo Teocoli), un travestito amico di Matilda che ha una relazione con un
commissario capo di polizia, i 3 scopriranno che Francesco era invischiato in un brutto giro di malavita capeggiato dal
suo patrigno; ma a sorpresa il ragazzo non è solo scappato dal patrigno, ma è entrato in seminario per seguire le
orme del padre e sta per prendere i voti; Don Arturo riesce ad evitare che Francesco venga ucciso dal patrigno che viene
arrestato, nel frattempo Matilda partorisce dando alla luce una bambina e poco dopo, il parroco coadiuvato dal figlio
battezza la nipotina, a quel punto Francesco capisce che il suo posto è con Matilda e la bambina e abbandona il
seminario.

Nel film è presente anche Teo Teocoli, nei panni di Zobeide, travestito dal cuore d'oro.
Giacomo Pozzetto è anche il reale figlio di Renato Pozzetto.
