  ## Breif explination of a Checksum (Hash)
  Basically you already know
the basics if you know what a SUM is. The SUM of
  1+1=2 this in essence is what a Checksum is. Its the output of
all data given
  to the hashing algorithm (md5,sha1,sha2,sha5,etc...)
  The point of a checksum is to verify
that not one single bit has changed in the
  original input. Meaning if I change one single Bit from a 0 to a 1 or
I install
  some malicious backdoor code into my re-upload of this exact file. The checksum
  will fail.

 
  Example of a Checksum(hash) at work, in this case we will use md5 one of the 
  weakest ones.
