           Super Dimension Fortress Macross, The Movie [Studio English Audio]

The "Super Spacefortress
Macross" movie, a.k.a "Macross: Do You Remember Love?" with the English "Hong Kong" dub.

This impossible to find version with the English audio dubbed by the studio that created the film. This is not a
fandub.

A little history: The Super Spacefortress Macross movie was made after the Macross TV series. The
movie was originally created with Japanese audio with no English dub. After the movie was released, the studio recorded
the English version using actors from Hong Kong who for some reason have an Australian accent. They released it on VHS
and tried to sell it to the US market. Harmony gold then bought rights to the TV show and movie; they translated it
themselves and totally brutalized it. The result was Robotech and Clash of the Bionoids.

True Macross fans
have been looking for the original Super Spacefortress Macross movie English dub ever since. It was barely released in
the US on VHS and never released in the US on DVD. I bought one of the few VHS tapes with English in 1992, and I've
been sitting on this audio version ever since. 

After seeing the horrible fandubs, I decided to buy the DVD
and replace the Japanese audio with the English audio from my VHS tape. I had to process the audio for noise reduction
(tape hiss), equalization, and normalization, plus I had to manually line up the audio with the different scenes from
the DVD.

I think true Macross fans will appreciate the result. I did put this up years ago, but the seed died
off. Please seed and keep this alive. For any critics, I direct you to a forum discussing the history of it.
