Plot:

When a narcotics deal goes sour and a suspect disappears, leaving
only his clothes, Tokyo police question his wife and stake out the nightclub where she works. His disappearance stumps
the police - until a young scientist appears who claims that H-Bomb tests in the Pacific, evidenced by a "ghost ship"
that has turned up in the harbor, have created radioactive creatures - "H-Men" - who ooze like slime and dissolve anyone
they touch.

Trama:

Una rapina - una come tante ne
accadono nelle grandi metropoli - segna l'inizio di una vicenda da incubo che mette in pericolo il futuro stesso
dell'umanità.
Un rapinatore, dopo aver compiuto il colpo, viene sfiorato da qualcosa e mentre fugge terrorizzato
muore investito da un'auto. Del suo corpo non rimane alcuna traccia ... sull'asfalto restano solo i suoi abiti.
La
ragazza dello scomparso viene contattata dalla polizia e, al tempo stesso, è nel mirino degli altri rapinatori. Uno
di costoro la sequestra e la conduce nelle gallerie della città senza sapere che proprio quel luogo è uno dei
rifugi degli Uomini H, informi spettrali mutanti che assorbono l'energia degli uomini dissolvendone il corpo.
All'origine della spaventosa metamorfosi ci sono alcuni test atomici avvenuti in una zona di mare. Gli uomini di una
nave che si è trovata a passare in quelle acque si sono trasformati in masse informi, veri concentrati di
radioattività che assorbono gli esseri viventi con cui vengono a contatto. Sono loro i primi Uomini H.
