Due razze
aliene in guerra, gli Autobot e i Decepticon, trasferiscono il loro campo di battaglia dallo spazio alla Terra, alla
ricerca di una potentissima fonte di energia, l'All Spark.

Le prime avvisaglie dell'avvenimento si hanno
quando una base militare americana in Qatar viene attaccata da uno dei Decepticon (Blackout), mimetizzato in modo da
sembrare un elicottero (Sikorsky MH-53J/M PAVE 

LOW) militare statunitense, che fa strage di soldati allo
scopo di penetrare la rete informatica militare e scaricare informazioni classificate. Il fatto non passa inosservato e
al Pentagono un gruppo di 

esperti cerca di decodificare la natura dell'attacco. Intanto i superstiti
dell'attacco, comandati dal Capitano Lennox, poco dopo vengono nuovamente assaliti nel deserto da Scorponok, un
Decepticon dalle 

sembianze di uno scorpione (e che si trovava nascosto all'interno di Blackout). Alla fine
la creatura viene messa in fuga con l'aiuto dell'aviazione, ma lascia dietro di sé parte della sua coda, che verrà


studiata dai militari.

STORYLINE

A long time ago, far away on the planet of
Cybertron, a war is being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons
(commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control 

over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant
unlimited power to whoever possesses it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron
blasts off in search of it. He 

eventually tracks it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless
desire for power sends him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forces him into a paralyzed state.
