With the early '80s hard rock and
heavy metal revival in America, Columbia Records pieced together a nine song compilation album under the title Speaker
Death! (Heavy Metal Head-Bangers) (Columbia AS 993 / 1981). The album was only available as a free demo, for a short
period of time, with the purchase of any LP by one of the group's represented on Speaker Death! The majority of the
acts on the nine song collection are not what I consider heavy metal, save Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne. Journey and
Loverboy aren't even my idea of hard rock, let alone heavy metal! 

The limited edition sampler LP,
pressed with a white promotional label, includes the following tracks:

Clueless idiots,Ozzy yes Priest Hell yes, The BOC Track was a Surprise of course it was the hardest track from
Fire of Unknown Origen But the rest were Rock at best and Journey at worst JOURNEY? METAL WTF LOL 
But I came
across this and I felt compelled to share the compilation LOL
As A Rock compilation its OK But that was not the
target audience
